I view my role as a therapist is to provide a safe, warm therapeutic environment that fosters the growth of my clients. Sessions are focused on that which is most relevant to my clients in order to help them develop a deeper sense of their experience and needs in the moment. We then work collaboratively to explore ways of getting their needs met more effectively.

My professional experience includes working with adults and adolescents struggling with the effects of trauma, relationship concerns, anxiety and depression, identity issues, finding meaning and purpose, grief/loss, and difficult life transitions. I appreciate working with those who have had long-term struggles and/or those who may not have found previous therapy helpful. I welcome individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds as well as people of all abilities, genders, and sexual orientations.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Idaho (203014) and in the state of Florida (8675). I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology at Pacific University (OR). I have worked in a variety of settings including private practice, universities, residential, and community mental health. I see adults in individual and couples therapy and adolescents (14 and older) for individual therapy. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional through the International Association of Trauma Professionals.
